Kick-off: 13h00

African Stars delivered a commanding performance on Sunday afternoon at the Independence Stadium, comfortably defeating Julinho Sporting 4-1 in a thrilling Namibia Premier Football League encounter.

The Samba Boys opened the scoring midway through the first half when midfielder Mbakondja Tjahikika found the back of the net with a clinical finish, capitalizing on a perfectly weighted assist from Godwin Eiseb. The early lead, however, was short-lived as a moment of misfortune saw Vitapi Ngaruka accidentally turn the ball into his own net, gifting Julinho an equalizer and sending the teams into the break level at 1-1.

But the second half was all African Stars.

Veteran defender Charles Hambira restored the lead with a towering header from a pinpoint Eiseb corner, showcasing his aerial dominance and giving Stars the 2-1 advantage.
The momentum continued when Tjahikika doubled his tally, diving low to connect beautifully with a cross from Awillo Stephanus, making it 3-1 and putting daylight between the two sides.
The victory was sealed late in the match as Stephanus, who had been lively throughout, got on the scoresheet himself with a simple tap-in, thanks to an unselfish square ball from substitute //Gaseb.

With this emphatic win, African Stars continue their impressive run of form, displaying fluid attacking football and strong teamwork in front of a vocal home crowd.
